We approached the match with enthusiasm and confidence in being able to play well in the heat and bring the series back level. We played much better hockey and created some very good scoring opportunities which we still need to get better at putting away. There seemed to be more aggression coming from our team and also more desire to win the match. We put some good goals away and ended up winning 2-1. I scored the first goal which is good for me individually as I feel I have been missing too many opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net. It was an exciting match today as it was Rachel Imisons 200th international match which is an extraordinary achievement for any player especially a goalkeeper. Rach is a very close friend of mine and someone whom I admire an enormous amount due to her dedication, passion for the game, her courage on the field and her friendship over the past 13 years. Well done Rach, I am so proud of you.
